The Fabric is available for $1.00 at Wal Mart.  My WM no longer has a fabric section, but they do have a shelf full of small fabric bunches in the craft section.  With one package you can make at least 4-6 bean bags.

The bird seed I am using is the black sunflower seeds you can get at WM or anyplace that sells bird food.  You can use other things for a filler as well, such as beans, old beads, anything that is not sharp and can fill the bag for tossing!

Step One:
- Cut out two squares of equal size. The measurement is up to you. I tried to keep them about as big as an index card.  You could also cut out circles and triangles for different shaped bags.
- Make sure the insides of the square are facing each other, you want to glue the seams on the inside of the bag.

Step Two:
- Glue the sides together with the liquid stitch.  Use the botton of the tube to push the glue out to the edges.
- Make sure you leave a small hole on one of the edges to turn the bag rightside out when the glue has dried.
- Wait at least a 1/2 hour for the glue to dry thoroughly.

Step Three:
- Carefully turn the bag rightside out by grabbing a corner from the inside and push it through the hole you left open.
- Fill the bag with your filler! Use a small funnel to reduce mess.
- My boys had a blast helping me fill the bags and it’s always good for some giggles when they help :-)

Step Four:
- This is a little tricky!  Make sure there is enough room at the top to glue the corner together!  Fold in the edges and apply the liquid stitch to seal up the fill hole.  Don’t worry if it doesn’t look perfect!  The kids are not going to analyze your handiwork when they are tossing them around :-)

And you are done!

Now you can use the bean bags to play games, run relays, play hopscotch and so much more!  Let your imagination run wild and have fun with your new bean bags!
